He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Garber and Donald Garber; and his siblings, Roger, Wayne and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Gun Garber; his children, Brian Garber, Christine King and Cheryl McDonnell (Bill); and his sister DeDe McCreary. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; many extended family members, including cousins, nieces and nephews.
