She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Heinrich Walter Hinsch and Maria Anna Nostitz; her husbands, Charles D. Benchoff and Larry Wilson; and her stepdaughter Linda Fortini.

She is survived by: her children, Heide Bohn and Erik Bohn (Linda); her stepson C. Jack Kane; and her siblings, Jürgen Hinsch, Vera Hansen and Helmuth Hinsch. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
