He was predeceased by: his former wife Esther Cornett Miller. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Swartz Miller; his daughters, Diana Kennedy (Marc) of Lusby, MD and Cindy Pierce (Doug) of Elizabethton, TN; his grandchildren, Devin Kennedy, Ashleigh, Jessica and Steffanie Pierce; and his brother Robert "Bob" Miller (Beth) of Chambersburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in his name to SpiriTrust Lutheran Hospice, 2700 Luther Dr., Chambersburg, PA 17202.
