He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd S. Metzgar and Catherine L. Metzgar (Coy); his son Dennis C. Metzgar; and his siblings, Janice Stodolski and Donald Metzgar.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelley J. Martin (Steve) of Chambersburg, PA; his grandson Michael Martin; his significant other Velva Morris of Chambersburg; his significant other's children, Dena Graham (Robert) and Dane Morris (Brenda Seibert); and his brother Ellis E. Metzgar (Beverly) of Pulaski, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
