We bid farewell to Catherine L. Metz of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Orrstown, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Helmuth and Mildred Ruth Helmuth (Kline); her husband David D. Metz, Sr.; and her son Anthony W. Metz. She is survived by: her children, David D. Metz, Jr. (Tracey Conner Metz) and Carla M. Metz Avey (Steve); her grandchildren, Michael Metz, Alysha Hardman (Skylar Rock) and Jessica Nye; her sisters, Lillian Ingram, Pauline Winters and Margaret Binner; and also Diane Shaffer. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
