We bid farewell to Betty Jean Gaver in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2024 at the age of 96. Betty Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paul Hoffman and Margaret Louise Hoffman; her husband Cecil Johnson Gaver; her daughter Cela Chelmey; and her brothers, William Hoffman, Jr. and Dr. Richard Hoffman.
She is survived by: her son Michael Gaver (Candace); her son-in-law Ronnie Chelmey; and her sisters, Nancy Thomas (Bill) and Mary Pittsnogle. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
