He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Kipe and Daisy Kipe (Sprenkle). He is survived by: his brothers, Rev. Elmer Kipe of Camp Hill, PA, Rev. Vaughn Kipe of Chambersburg and Daniel Kipe; and his grandchildren, Barnes, Samuel Kipe, Mary Kipe, Shirley Kipe, Anna Helfrick, Daisy Altman, Pearl Friese, Janet Wenger, Richard Kipe, Charles Kipe and Harry Kipe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
