It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur S. Byers of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel D. Byers and Mary M. Sollenberger Byers; his wife Ruth A. Byers; his daughter Regina Faye Bender; and his siblings, Thelma Byers, Mary Byers and Jacob Byers.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara A. Byers, Janet M. Rock (Mark) and Gerald A. Byers (Martha) of Chambersburg; his siblings, Daniel Byers (Ruth) and Esther Brechbill; and his sister-in-law Rachel Byers. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
