She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Marie Doerner Barnhart; her son-in-law Stuart S. Barnhart; her grandchildren, Brendan J. Barnhart (Jane), Kelly M. Barnhart Bowie (Robert) and Devin Lee Barnhart Keifer (Cody); her great grandchildren, Riley M. Bowie and Oliver R. Bowie; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Doerner Gouden and Frances Scriven Watson; and her niece Brenda Arlene Watson Myers.

“I was Arlene's pest control guy for the last 5 years, my boss was her guy for many years before. I called her today to confirm an appointment. The number was disconnected. I always scheduled Arlene as my last stop so I could sit and chat with her at the end of my workday. I know Arlene was nit a wealthy person but she always found out a way to give me a present at Christmas and refused to take anything in return. When I got the disconnected message it broke my heart.”
