It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan R Hoover of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Newburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Hoover and Grace Shuman Hoover; and his siblings, Philip, Rodney, Jay Hoover and Nancy Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn B. Brechbiel Hoover; his children, Ann C. Baker (Don), Linda H. Husted (Craig), Joseph B. Hoover (Christy) and Julie R. Harnish of Annapolis, MD; and his siblings, Ned Hoover, William Hoover and Kathryn Lauver. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
