It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Ruth Eberly Blaney (Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania), born in Allison, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Eberly and Ruth Eberly (Moore); her husband William Gerald Blaney (Jerry); her son Douglas O. Blaney; her granddaughter Allison Debor; her siblings, Margaret George and Robert E. Eberly; and her son-in-law Kent Carter.

She is survived by: her daughter Ruth B. Carter of Chalk Hill; her grandchildren, Dana Pancoast of Lithia, Kelly Debor of Largo, Sarah Carter of Uniontown and Aden Carter of Clearwater; her great grandchildren, Alexander Chapman, Liam Pancoast, Cullen Pancoast and Aaralyn Carter; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Conley of Safety Harbor. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service celebrating Carolyn's life will be held at a later date.
