He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Penderghest and Beatrice Penderghest (Slack); and his brother Raymond Pendergest. He is survived by: his wife Julia L. Penderghest (York); his children, Linda Bush (Fred), Donna Mirack (Joe) and Michael Penderghest; his siblings, Ethel Lightcap and Shirley Singer (Penderghest); his grandchildren, Fred, Melanie, Andrew, Noelle and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Kira, Ricky, Nathan and Jayden.
