She was predeceased by: her husband George R. Firko; her daughter Catherine Arlen (Len); and her sister Sheila O'Neill. She is survived by: her children, Mary Helen Goode (David), Terrie Firko, Michael J. Firko (Margaret), Lorraine Firko, Geralyn Firko and Georgina Allard. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
