It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ligia L. Lara of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ligia leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ligia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Fernando Lara; her children, Jeannette Lee (John), Alice Stagliano (late Joseph) and Fred Lara (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, Christopher, Isabella, Andrew, Samantha and Avery. She was also cherished by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home (175 E Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA 18914). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
