He is survived by: his wife Edith (Ginny); his children, Sherry Tharp (John Tharp), Christopher Sawyer, Gregory Sawyer (Vicki Sawyer), Brian Sawyer and Pamela Sawyer (Christine Sandvik); and his friend Karen Patton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
