He was predeceased by: his parent Patricia Gayle Patterson; his grandparents, Nancy and Horace Patterson (Pat); his parent Patricia Gayle Derrickson; and his stepfather Eugene Derrickson.
He is survived by: his wife Shellee Swank Patterson; his daughter Jordan Patterson; his stepchildren, Sidnee Gullion (Zach) and Joshua Matthews; his grandsons, Elijah Gullion and Myles Gullion; his godson Elijah Derrickson; his sister Sue Hanna (Dan); and his stepsiblings, Carol Derrickson and Chris Derrickson. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
