She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Powell and Emma Rigby Powell; and her husband William J. Derickson. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Haldeman (Joseph), Joseph Derickson and James Derickson; her grandchildren, Jon Haldeman (Andrea) and Karen Haldeman; and her great grandchildren, Kailey Haldeman, Derek Haldeman and Jillian Graboski.

Donations in her memory may be made to Elam United Methodist Church.
