Lucy Strommer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Strommer of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lucy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lucy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Francisco Dario Valarezo. She is survived by: her husband Martin J. Strommer; her daughter Stephanie Croteau (Christian); her mother Mariana; her sisters, Elena Pienknagura (Miguel), Marita Valarezo (Bob McDunn), Silvia Valarezo (late Stephen Wallace) and Diana Valarezo (Guy Castadot); and her grandson Henry Croteau.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Cornelius Catholic Church (160 Ridge Rd, Chadds Ford, PA 19317). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
