It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Novello (Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Diodato and Jessie Diodato (Ledonne); and her sister Loretta Diodato. She is survived by: her husband Guido Novello; her children, David Novello, Karen Prosseda, Brian Novello (Rita) and Denise Novello Helen Carol (Daniel McDermott); her grandchildren, Shawn Lafferty (Krysta), Nicholas Prosseda (Christina), Melina Prosseda Moore (Art), Katy Novello Hodgkin (Josh), Vincent Prosseda (Brittany), Anthony Novello, Danielle McDermott (Dalton), Leah McDermott Giannini (Matthew), Jesse McDermott and Elena Schiazza; her great grandchildren, Giavanna, Ava, Concetta, Joseph, Nino, Penelope, Sofia, Jack and Keiran; and her siblings, Marie Diodato, Deanna Russo (Don) and Frank Diodato. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
