He was predeceased by: his parent John Russell. He is survived by: his parent Mary C. Mayes (Snyder); his significant other Cindy Hoar of Centre Hall; his brother Donald Mayes (Mardella) of Centre Hall; and his grandchildren, Allison, Abbey, Nick and Kate. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
