He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene C. Shawver and Bessie L. "Witherite" Shawver. He is survived by: his wife Joan V. Tate; his son Kevin R. Shawver (Tammy) of Centre Hall; his grandchildren, Maura Eminhizer of Centre Hall and Justin Shawver of Boalsburg; his great grandchildren, Carter and Parker Eminhizer; and his brothers, Donald Shawver (Ruth) of Spring Mills and Gaylord D. Shawver (Sandy) of Spring Mills.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be given to American Heart Association.
