He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Mozingo and Beulah Mozingo (Meeks); and his siblings, Charles Mozingo, Ruth Eft, Esther Sapp and Marjorie Ensell.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia M. "Ginger" McGregor; his son Ralph D. Mozingo of Spring Mills; and his sisters, Betty Pentland of Maine and Cora Belle Geary of Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ralph's memory to the Sprucetown United Methodist Church, 177 Upper Georges Valley Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.

“A FAVORITE PROF AT PENN STATE Mr. Ralph Mozingo, a retired professor at Penn State, challenged his structural engineering students like no other prof. His reputation was such that on the first day of class, if Mr. Mozingo walked in, then before the 2nd class, several students dropped the class. But not me. In 2 years, 70/71 & 71/72, I had him for 4 classes. Best prof I ever had. He taught us how to think about problems like no one else. An unforgettable man and teacher never to be forgotten.”
