It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary K. Steiger of Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, born in Madisonburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur F. Yearick and Sarah Victoria "Fetterolf" Yearick; and her brothers, Nelson Yearick and Edward Yearick. She is survived by: her husband Leon D. Steiger; her daughters, Kathy Balliet of Bellefonte and Shawnie Bechdel (Malvin) of Pleasant Gap; her siblings, Leotta Long of Spring Mills, Elaine Witherite (Ron) of Reedsville and Philip Yearick (Sue) of Spring Mills; and her grandsons, Preston and Austin Bechdel.
