He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph F. Luse and Mildred Long Luse; his children, Bradley R. Luse and Ellen Luse Woods; and his siblings, Inez Lauck, Richard Luse and Bruce Luse.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Corl Luse; his brother William Luse of Centre Hall; his children, James S. Luse (Beth) of Winston, Nancy E. Luse of Frederick and Shelby L. Luse (Alison) of Centre Hall; his daughter-in-law Karen Taylor (Maurice) of Sebring, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Brandie Luse Taylor, Evangeline Kumar, Heather Whittaker, Jeremiah Woods, Daniela Moravec, Justin Umbower, Josiah Luse, Jeffrey Luse, Micah Taylor and Leah Stevens. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
