She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Strenski and Elizabeth Strenski; her husband Gary; and her brothers, Billy and Larry.

She is survived by : her sisters, Betsy Leppert (Roger), Eleanor and Katie Strenski. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in Ruthie's memory.
