She was predeceased by : her parents, Vasil Kovach and Maria Kovach (Prodan); her husband Vincent John Palanes; her children, Mary K. Spaid and Brian C. Palanes; and her siblings, Charles, Stephen, George, Joseph, Anna Galish, Mary Funk, Christina Kovach and Helena Allard (Judy).
She is survived by : her children, Rita M. Bostwick of Ocala, FL and Alan P (Palanes); her grandsons, Vincent R. Spaid (Moira) of Clermont, FL and Christopher J. Palanes (Lori); her great grandchild Lucas Charles Palanes of Somerset, PA; her granddaughter Amy L. Palanes of Somerset, PA; her sister Elizabeth Shibilski of Naples, FL; and her cousin Bill Kovach Vernon (Annette). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
