He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Charles and Florence Edkins (Golden); his wife Leona Edkins; his child Forence Edkins; and his siblings, William Edkins, Evelyn Davis and Agnes McWilliams (Aggie).
He is survived by: his children, Bob Edkins (Cindy), Carol Perkins (Chris) and Joy Edkins-Spontarelli; and his grandchildren, Bobby III, Nichole, Cassey, Chris, Sherry, Deidra and James. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
