He was predeceased by: his sisters, Janet and Mary Lou; and his parents, Nora (Lucille) and Otto. He is survived by: his wife Judie Simmerman (McCune) of Centerville; his sister Gayle Hildack (Roger); his sons, Jason Simmerman (Stephanie) of Washington, DC and Jeremy Simmerman (Lynne) of Washington, DC; his stepchildren, Kim Amato of Pittsburgh, Mike Kovski and TJ Kovski of Erie; his grandchildren, Mindy, Maria, Nicole, Steven, Chelsey, Tyler, Alexis, Norah, Zachary and Sabastian; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Jax, Myah and Elizabeth.
