She was predeceased by: her spouse Glenn Grubel; and her parents, William G. Bensinger and Louise Bensinger (Garret). She is survived by: her children, Leonard Lackey, Sasha Grubel and Megan Grubel; and her brother William G. Bensinger, Jr.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
