He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilkins and Mary Wilkins (Wilkins); and his brothers, James, LeRoy and Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine M. Wilkins (Rau); his children, Marguerite D. Wilkins of Center Valley and Mark R. Wilkins (Bonnie L.) of Northampton; and his sister Dorothy M. Watts of Lumberton, NC.
