He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mitchell and Stella Mitchell (Wieczorek); and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his daughter Lynne Mitchell (David Whoolery); his stepson H. Lee Braidwood (Pat); and his sister Pat (Kenneth Nairne). He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
