He was predeceased by: his parent Anna Buddock (Donchetz); his son John; his stepson Marc Nonnemacher; and his grandsons, Daniel Adams and David Henninger.

He is survived by: his spouse Karen M. Buddock (Kauker); his children, Tracey (Daniel Adams) of Oregon, Bryan Buddock of Dornsife, PA, Anna (Michael Marshall) of Kingsley, PA and Chad of Bethlehem; his stepson Michael Nonnemacher of Allentown; and his sister Maryann (Lee Reichard) of Bethlehem. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
