He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lent and Edith Marie Sawyer (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Donna Marie Sawyer; and his siblings, Peggy (David Powers), Nancy (Tom Christensen), Judi Sawyer and Richard Sawyer (Lane). He is also survived by three nephews.
