She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cavanaugh and Julia Cavanaugh; and her husband Paul D. Burkholder. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Ronald Burkholder (Lynn) and Wanda Kay Shildt (Gary); her grandchildren, Erica Shildt, Matthew Shildt (Julie) and Stephanie Shildt (Christopher Lohr); her great grandchildren, Kyara, Brayden Parrish, Sydney, Jason Shildt, Merik, Evie and Eliza; and her sister Mary Frantz.
