It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Engel of Center Township, Pennsylvania, born in Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Engel and Amelia Engel (Richardson); his daughter Amy Pannebaker (Engel); and his brother Mark Engel. He is survived by: his wife Janis Engel (Hall); his children, Michael Engel (Becky) of North Carolina and Heather Spinelli (Michael) of Center Township; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Adam Pannebaker, Shawn, Mark Engel, Michaela, Marisa, Mikey and Mia Spinelli.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
