He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Carlson and Elsie Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Michael Carlson (Polly); his stepdaughter Kathy Vickodil; his stepgrandchildren, Karley and Jesse; his great grandchild Deacon; and his sister Ruth Holter (Harve).
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Heifer International (heifer.org) as Olie was a strong supporter being self-sufficient and farmers everywhere.
