With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Platoniotis of Center Township, Pennsylvania, born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 3, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Bogeatzes and Kyreaki Bogeatzes; her husband Angelo Platoniotis; her son George Platoniotis; her brother Andy; her sister-in-law Betty Bogeatzes; her parents-in-law, George and Alice Platoniotis; and her sister-in-law Marian Marocco.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marian Bunney (Sean) and Karyn Kail (Bob); her grandchildren, Niko Bunney, Benjamin Kail (Cassie), Zachary Kail (Liesl), Jacob Kail (Anna), Elizabeth Mayak (Jonathan), Joshua Kail (Abby), Gregory Kail (Lauren) and Katherine Saab (Gregory); and her siblings-in-law, Tom Platoniotis (Margie), Sophie Prigorac and Frank Marocco. She is also survived by her 27 great-grandchildren.
