He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wayne Sr. and Sharon Smart (Golixer); and his brother Barry Smart. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Wayne Smart III and Luke Smart (Alyssa); his grandson Julian Smart; and his sisters, Sunny Allen (Brad), Cindy DeVitis (Phil) and Karen Grimm.
