She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Sr. Schweitzer and Rose Schweitzer; her husband Ronald Nowak Sr.; her grandson Joseph; and her brothers, Warren Schweitzer Jr. and David Schweitzer.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Jr. (Kristine), Bridget, Edward, Daniel (Lerin) and Michael Nowak (Keira); her foster son Jimmy Wargha; her grandchildren, Matthew, Gabriel, Jeremy, Jonathan, Joshua, Kaylee, Angel, Amara, Tyler Nowak and Brittany Browning; her great grandchildren, Ava Nowak and Maggie Corlazzoli; her siblings, Rosann Jones (Bob), Nellene Groetsch (Jack), Thomas Schweitzer and Denise Joseph (George); and her niece Heather Schweitzer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
