He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cathy Cianelli; his sons, Jayson Romano of Cecil Twp and Jaret Romano (Daisy) of Canonsburg; his grandsons, Joaquin and Jordan Romano; his brother John Romano (Linda D'Amico) of Canonsburg; his sister-in-law Debbie Queen Romano; and his brother James J. Romano. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Jay's name are suggested to the Washington City Mission or the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater 2900 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh 15201.
