He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Mindler (Coladonato); his brother Lawrence "Larry" Mindler; and his granddaughter Natalie Bankes. He is survived by: his father Lamar Mindler; his stepmother Betty Mindler of Rockford; his children, Matthew Mindler II, Catawissa, Halley Mindler of Columbus, Zac Getkin (Heather) of Berwick and Linsey Bankes (Philip) of Berwick; his brother Lamar R. Mindler Jr. (Kathy) of Morley; and his stepsister Cindy King of New Zealand. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
