It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Irene Hollingshead (Catawissa, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wertman and Laurel Wertman (Gensel) of Catawissa; her son Mark Joseph Hollingshead; and her siblings, Charles Wertman, Deborah Shultz, Betty Rasmussen and Margaret Wertman.
She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Hollingshead; her son David Jeffrey Hollingshead; her daughters-in-law, Mary Hollingshead of Coal Township, PA. and Jane Hollingshead of Catawissa; her grandchildren, Mark Hollingshead of Catawissa, Alicia Hollingshead of Catawissa, Heather (William Brady) of Danville, Brian Hollingshead (Caitlyn) of Plains and Brett Hollingshead (Holly) of Windham, NH.; and her great grandchildren, Ayzah Quinn, Marin Hollingshead, Wyatt Brady, Abigail Brady, Blake Hollingshead, Braedon Hollingshead, Sarah Hollingshead, Bryce Hollingshead, Brooks Hollingshead and Camryn Hollingshead. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
