He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel "Buss" and Ethel V. Johnson (Raup); and his brother Dale Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Johnson (Markel); his daughters, Jennifer Ney (Michael), Mainville, Mindy Farnsworth and Pamela Samsel (Michael); his grandchildren, Christopher Farnsworth, Kiersten Farnsworth, Olivia Ney and Isabella Ney; his stepgrandsons, Robert Samsel and Jordan Ney; his great grandchild Blaise Samsel; and his sister Janet Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
