He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Valencik. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Valencik (Kreischer) of Catawissa; his close friend Michele Valencik (DeMent); his daughters, Erika Burkhart (Douglas) and Michelle Gipple (Brian); his grandchildren, Alex Gipple, Cody Gipple (Brooke), Miranda Gipple (Jimmy), Lauren Burkhart and Jack Burkhart; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Camden Gipple and Grant Hile; his brother Brian Valencik (Sherry); his nephew Ryan; and his niece Courtney.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be offered at the service for the Arbor Day Foundation.
