We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 80, John D. Rife of Catawissa, Pennsylvania, born in Watsontown, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John D. Rife to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward, Sr. and Helen Pauline Lesher Rife; and his brothers, Ronald Rife and Donald Rife. He is survived by: his wife Irene Kovaleskie Rife (Smutz); his son John Rife, II (Ashley) of Turbotville; his stepson Kevin Kovaleskie (Stacie Swank) of Muncy; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandria and Ambra; his granddaughters, Taleisha, Sophia and Olivia; his great grandchild Arlington; his siblings, James Rife (Gladys) of Elizabethtown and Sandra Dersham (Dave) of McEwensville; and his sister-in-law Nancy Rife of Watsontown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. (42 W Mahoning St, Danville, PA 17821). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (172 All Saints Rd, Elysburg, PA 17824).
