With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rudy R. Mayo (Catasauqua, Pennsylvania), born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 6, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Miriam Mayo (Tooty Schropp); his parents, Rocco Mazzocchetti and Lena Mazzocchetti; his sons, Donald (Judy) and Gary (Donell); his siblings, William Mayo (Patricia), Theodore Mayo (Sylvia) and Edith Long; his grandsons, Michael (Aileen) of Watertown, MA, Joseph Patrick (Amanda) of Durham, NC and Zachary (Ashley) of Dover, PA; and his siblings, Henry Mayo and Marjorie Callan. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Rudy can be made to the Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association, P.O. Box 65, Catasauqua, PA 18032.
