She was predeceased by: her parents, Ñico Jimenez and Margarita Fernandez. She is survived by: her boyfriend Luis Durand; her children, Elizabeth Ferrer, Robert Ferrer (Ellen) and Michael John Durand (Lauren); and her sister Olga Jimenez. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Maria's memory.
