It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith A. Hawkey of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Hawkey and Arlene M. Hawkey (Saylor); and her sisters, Jacqueline Kuchera, Geraldine Dorwart and Patricia Stettler.

She is survived by: her son Chad M. Hawkey (Debby); her sisters, Bonita Youwakim of Germansville, Karen Ruch of Whitehall and Susan; and her grandchildren, Reyer and Cole.

“I will always remember Judy for her beautiful singing voice and the joy she took in singing the songs of Patsy Cline. Judy took pride in her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She loved being a sister of the seven sisters and bragged about this from time to time. Her greatest joy was her only son Chad and two handsome grandsons Reyer and Cole Hawkey. May we all hear the beautiful sound of a songbird singing when we remember Judy. Our hearts are with you Chad. Love the Herwigs”
