He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Sober and Dorothy A. Sober (Bower); his brothers, William Sober (Bill), Paul Sober, Donald Sober and Leroy Sober; and his granddaughter Randi J. Michaels.
He is survived by: his spouse Connie A. (Saupp); his children, Kristine Michaels (Sober), Jill W. Sober-White (Tracy Sober-White), Jack D. Sober (Katrina L.), Heather L. Trumbo (Steven) and Suzanne E. Woolley (Marshall W.); and his brother Harry Sober (Barbara). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
