She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Merkel; her parents, Claude Nonnemacher and Gertrude Duracinsky (Thomas); and her brother Joseph Duracinsky, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Kerry Merkel (Drena), Keith Merkel and Kevin Merkel; her siblings-in-law, Donald (Lorraine Merkel), Barbara Merkel and Grace Duracinsky; and her sister Linda Christman. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great granddaughters.
